Mangaluru, Nov 13: Actor Ameeta Kulal who made her debut in Sandalwood with Madhusoodan directorial ‘Aa Eradu Varshagalu’ is taking huge steps in Sandalwood.
Ameetha, who hails from Mangaladevi and is the proud daughter of Sadashiva and Vedavathi S Bangera.
Offers popped in after her successful debut starring opposite Srujan Lokesh in ‘Happy Journey’ which went on to do well at the box office.
Ameetha is playing the character of a pregnant woman in her upcoming movie 'Jagath Khiladi' opposite Niranjan Shetty, directed by Dheerendra.
On her role of pregnant women, Ameetha says, "It was very challenging when you do not know the reality of pregnancy, be it the joy or pain.”
Currently she is working in Kannada movie ‘Prabhutva' directed by R Ranganath where she is playing a guest appearance of a journalist. She has also signed an untitled movie.
Speaking to daijiworld.com Ameetha says, "So basically, if you pick any of my movies, I have played different characters that needed different preparation rather than just being an eye candy or a love interest to the hero. I never received any offer for any of the movies because I am not an influential person. All the movies I acted were through auditions. The makers liked my performance and not just a pretty face.”
"The journey has never been easy. I have reached here on my own efforts. I am grateful to my parents too,” she concluded.
