Senior citizen found murdered in Delhi


New Delhi, Nov 14 (IANS): A 73-year-old woman was found murdered in her South Delhi home on Tuesday, police said.

The victim has been identified as Chandra Mukhi, who resided in Savitri Nagar area with her son Kuldeep in separate flats of the same building.

According to the police, Mukhi was found murdered with her mouth, hands and legs tied up with clothes.

Kuldeep alerted police on Tuesday after he woke up and found his mother dead inside her ground floor flat.

Her son resides on the third floor of the building, the officer said.

"During investigation, the flat was found ransacked, equipments lying on floor and almirahs opened," officer said.

Mukhi's husband worked with the MCD. He had passed away few years back. While two of her other sons stay in Canada and the US.

The officer said the probe will be from all possible angles including robbery and personal enmity.

"CCTV cameras in nearby shops and residences are also being checked to gather clues," the officer added.

    Looks bit suspicious.Son came next day and found mothers body.does the son has something to do with it?How come noone heard her shouting before her mouth was stuffed?It cant be possible to stuff the mouth without giveout a cry.Ask son intensive.Anyway ,this type of lastend doesnt deserve the old lady.May her soul rest in peace.
