New Delhi, Nov 24 (IANS): The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) on Thursday summoned the manager, principal, two teachers and ayah of the school where a four-year-old student allegedly sexually assaulted his classmate for its inquiry
"Considering the seriousness of the matter, the commission issued notices to school principal, two teachers, manager and other school staff members and other relevant people to join the inquiry before November 27," said DCPCR member Jyoti Duhab Rathree
The incident took place on November 17 when the minor girl was sexually assaulted by her classmate, while the teacher was out of the class in the school in Dwarka area of west Delhi.
A case of rape under section 376 of Indian Penal Code and section 21 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been filed by Delhi Police on a complaint submitted by the girl's mother.
