RJD's protest continues in Bihar Assembly

Patna, Nov 30 (IANS): Members of the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) protested for the fourth consecutive day inside the Bihar assembly and raised slogans against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The RJD members, holding placards, stood in the portico of the assembly building to register their protest.

Shouting slogans like "Nitish Kumar Balu Chor", they sought to highlight a series of scams from Srijan to toilets. They also raised their voices against the rising number of crimes in the state.

The five-day winter session of the Bihar Assembly began here on Monday.

Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav said his party would continue to highlight the "failures" of the government and issues related to public interest.

The winter session will end on December 1.
