Udupi, Dec 1: The much awaited annual sports day of Silas International School was held on November 29.
The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by games captain Ananya Shetty.
Principal Deirdra Maben and vice-principal Elizabeth Joseph took the salute of the impressive March Past of the four houses.
An energizing exercise drill set the tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.
Students of classes 5 to 10 competed in house-wise events. The vice-principal addressed the gathering and commended the students on their performance and reinforced the importance of sports. The day ended with the principal awarding the winners with medals and certificates.
