Coldest night in Srinagar


Srinagar, Dec 4 (IANS): At minus 3.7 degrees Celsius on Monday Srinagar witnessed the coldest night of the season so far as Leh recorded the coldest temperature in Jammu and Kashmir at minus 12, the Met said.

"The present cold wave conditions are likely to continue till Wednesday as the weather is expected to remain dry," a weather official said.

The night's lowest temperature in Pahalgam and Gulmarg were minus 4.1 and minus three, respectively.

In Jammu city it was 8.7, while it was 8.8 in Katra, 4.2 in Batote, 0.2 in Bannihal and two degrees Celsius in Bhaderwah.
