Gunmen loot cash from J&K bank in Kashmir


Srinagar, Dec 4 (IANS): Unidentified gunmen on Monday looted Rs 1 lakh from a Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch in south Kashmir, police said.

Police said the gunmen, reportedly three in number, entered the Noorpora branch of the bank in Tral area of Pulwama district.

The gunmen after threatening the bank staff and some customers looted Rs one lakh. They also fired several rounds in the air before decamping with the money.
