Six sentenced to death in TN honour killing

Chennai, Dec 12 (IANS): A court in Tamil Nadu's Tirupur district on Tuesday sentenced six people to death in an honour killing.

Of the six, one is the father of the girl, S. Kausalya, whose husband Shankar was murdered in 2016.

The court acquitted Kausalya's mother S. Annalakshmi and two others. The court also sentenced five people to life imprisonment.
