Mumbai: Madhucon Bags EPC Contract Worth Rs 989 Crore

Mumbai, Jul 14: Madhucon Projects, an infrastructure development firm, bagged an EPC contract worth Rs 989.5 crore for setting up of Thermal Power Plant in Krishnapatnam South, Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. 

The project to be completed in 26 months will set up  thermal power plant of 2X 135 MW in the first phase of the total envisaged 620MW being set up by Simhapuri Energy. 

Madhucon EPC division in highways, irrigation and BOT has total order book position of more than Rs 4,700 crore. Its energy division has entered into an MOU with Jharkhand State Governemnt for setting up of 1000MW thermal power palnt at a cost of Rs 4,800 crore.
