Puttur: St Victor Girls’ High School holds annual day

Puttur, Dec 21: St Victor Girls’ High School celebrated its annual day on December 14 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. The function was presided over by Fr Alfred J Pinto. Sukanya D N, BEO, Puttur was esteemed the chief guest.

Dr Belinda Fernandes, Usha Anchan, vice-president, Parent Teacher Association, Fr Praveen D’Souza, assistant priest, Mai De Deus Church, Fr Valerian Mascarenhas, Mary Lobo, president, Alumnae Association, Rosaline F Lobo, headmistress, St Victor Girls’ High School Puttur, and Deeksha D S, school pupil leader were the guests of honour.



The function started at 5:00 pm with the prize distribution to all the winners of different competitions, all rounder and the winning athlete team and house team.
The chief guest stated that she was very happy to note that St Victor Girls’ High School motivates its students by felicitating them with the prizes. She urged students to sharpen their talents and potentialities.

Guest of honour Dr Belinda Fernandes emphasized the need for value based education. She advised students never to forget their school, which makes them what they are.
Fr Alfred J Pinto remarked that this school is a boon for girls where they can get good education and build their own life.

School headmistress Rosaline F Lobo presented the report.

Anisha D’Silva welcomed the gathering and the vote of thanks was rendered by Deeksha D S. The stage programme was compered by Kavyashree P, Nibha R, Rakshitha B and Alveera Ancita D’Souza. The anchors of the cultural programme were Anujna P V, Khadeejath Naseeba, Mariyam Shifana and Raksha Anchan.
