Kundapur, Jul 15: A woman named Gulabi (32) and her five-year-old daughter Akshita died on the evening of Sunday July 13, after accidentally falling into a well without a protective barrier.
Gulabi, wife of Suresh Kulal from Hunda Kunda and Akshita were searching for a herb required to make home medicine. After the two went missing on Sunday evening, their family members launched a search for them at various places. They found the bodies of the deceased on Monday July 14, in a well located in the compound of Prabhakar Shetty, living a little away from the home of the family.
Kundapur police have registered a case based on a statement made by Suresh Kulal.
