Mumbai: 2-day All India Konkani Parishad conference on Jan 6 & 7

Mumbai, Dec 27: The 31st conference of All India Konkani Parishad is scheduled to be held at The Maharashtra state Bharath Scouts and Guides pavilion, Shivaji Park, Dadar here on January 6 and 7.

The Conference will be inaugurated by Vinod Tawde, Minister for Education on Saturday January 6 at 2 pm. Valedictory function will be held on Sunday January 7 at 4 pm. Gopal Shetty, Member of Parliament will be the chief guest.

The conference will comprise of seminars on various topics related to culture and development of Konkani, poetry reading and variety entertainment.

The organizers have invited people to become delegates and participate in the deliberations to enrich Konkani language, literature and culture. Delegate fee is Rs 500. Breakfast, lunch and tea snacks will be served for 2 days at the venue without any additional charges.

Registration will commence at 10 am on Saturday January 6.
