Mangalore: Fake Passport Racket - One Arrested

Mangalore, Jul 17: The immigration officials posted at the Mangalore international airport arrested a person, who was trying to fly to Dubai by using a fake passport.

36 year old Nasir, who hails from Siribagilu in Kasargod and presently settled in Ankola in Uttara Kannada district, was trying to board the Air India Express flight to Dubai on Tuesday July 15, by using someone else's passport.

He was trying to fly to the gulf, by pasting his photograph on a passport belonging toa person named Manoj Virapel, a resident of Kuveri in Kannur, Kerala.

The immigration officials handed him over to the Bajpe police station officials. He was later produced in a local court.
