Rebel SP MP Offered 25 Crore to Vote for UPA

New Delhi, Jul 19: In fact on July 10, one Rupesh Kumar who identified himself as a chartered accountant of a company, offered me a bribe of Rs 25 crore to vote in favour of the government," the MP said.

Rebel Samajwadi Party MP Munnawar Hasan on Friday announced that he would defy the party whip and vote against the UPA government on July 22.

"I will defy the party whip and vote against the UPA government on nuclear deal during the confidence vote on July 22. I have support of around seven party MPs. The deal is anti-Muslim and we are against it more so because it is being promoted by the US, which is an anti-Muslim country," Hasan told reporters here.

He claimed that he was persistently being wooed by "various people" to vote in favour of the UPA government. "In fact on July 10, one Rupesh Kumar who identified himself as a chartered accountant of a company, offered me a bribe of Rs 25 crore to vote in favour of the government," the MP said.

When asked as to why he did not register a complaint against the person or inform BSP supremo Mayawati about it, Munnawar said he found the media an appropriate outlet to disclose this information.

The Muzaffarnagar MP, who has been offered a ticket for the next general election by the BSP, said that he has not formally joined Mayawati but would do so after July 22.

"Once me and my other fellow MPs defy the SP whip, then we will join BSP," Hasan said.

Though he avoided uttering anything against SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, Munnawar said the SP's Muslim votebank had "slipped" and many of its MPs, who did not turn up for the Parliamentary Party meeting held earlier today, were against the deal.

"In fact some Congress MPs too are in touch with me while SP MPs like Raj Narayan Budholiya and Jai Prakash Rawat are already with us," he claimed.

Is this MP insane or the people who elected him are insane. Now I strongly believe that he bought votes from poor people, His IQ in politics is not more than a 15 years old kid. He doesn't know how to analyze politics and religion. Hope the people from his constituency will realize their mistake that they have made.

This SP MP, Munnawar Hasan is an opportunist. He claims that he was offered 25 crores to vote for UPA and now is going to join Mayavathi, the lady who looted the country 60 crores in just one year. If he did not accept those 25 crores, then I am sure he must have definitely got much more than 25 crores from opponents in order to vote against the UPA government.

There must be a CBI inquiry to investigate if he was really offered the bribe to vote for the UPA government, and also how many crores he got to vote against the UPA government. Uneducated ministers like Hasan are burden and obstacle to our developing nation. I pity those voters who send these brainless guys to the parliament.

There must be a minimum level of education to qualify to become MLA or MP. One would be surprised to know how many uneducated, criminals, murderers, dacoits and outlaws from UP and Bihar join politics and within no time become ministers. These two states have very low level of education compared to the other parts of India and that is the main reason they send these good-for-nothing guys to the assembly or parliament in order to destroy the nation.

His simple reason to vote against the UPA government is that the US is an anti-Muslim country. If he is right, then why there are thousands of Muslims from all over the world choose the US as their homeland? US is the country which feeds Muslims from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, etc. etc. Without the help from the US, these countries would have been bankrupt by now.

Before calling the US as anti-Muslim, he should ask himself if he is pro-Indian or anti-Indian. He is serving the interest of Pakistan and not India.

There are Muslims residing in US without any problem. Then why this stupid MP say nuclear deal anti Muslim. Perverted mind people should be thrown out for bringing religion towards the good deal. India has come up with IT Info, Telcoms, super computers, similarly nuclear deal is must for further rapid developments. dear UPA govt, do the deal fast without further delay. We need India to become super power nation first. Religion is next. Jai Hind.

One thing I did not understand is why this MP has to wait for July 22 to make the decision. Perhaps he wanted to see the results and if UPA wins the trust vote he may join even UPA. He doesn't want to lose the opportunity. He will jump to that party which is in power and demand his price. Now a days everybody wants to go to media to get publicity. I hope no party will entertain such greedy politicians and also the voters should not elect such untrustworthy politicians.

I have been in American Military Base Iraq, worked as store keeper during the period of 2003/2006. I have seen by my own eyes the consignment of holy kuran which is meant to distribute to iraqi prisoners. Moreover prisoners and third country national employees used to get the same quality meal which soldiers having.

Can we expect this kind of treatment from a muslim country or any one else? After next general election if BSP supports BJP to form Govt. then this MP will say supporting America is better than supporting BJP and he going to quit BSP too..

As now this MP is revealed about money offered him to vote against UPA, then we all take an example of BJP GOVT. in Karnataka, get support 3-4 MLA's during providing majority to form govt. How much would have been offered??? And after that these MLAs have been given Cabinet ministers portfolio directly without having any experience.

So my dear brothers, now we need to wake-up & as new generation we must not elect MP / MLAs based on party, but based only on their merit and hard work. Now this Mr.Rupesh Kumar think twice before voting against UPA, whether we need to create an asset to our new generation for an brightful India / or our new generation should suffer by power cut & then all our new talent / generation will migrate to Western Countries.

Let him think & understand the necessity of this nuclear deal. It is very helpful for India's growth as well as for India's growing need of power.
