Mumbai, Jan 8: Daivajhna Association on Sunday afternoon January 7 held its annual friendship meeting at Bombay Andhra Mahasabha Gymkhana auditorium, Dadar east.

Sadanand Shet, president of the association chaired the meeting.

Syndicate Bank retired senior officer Kamalaker M Shet, Bengaluru, Shobha K Shet and Ganesh Shet of Mangaluru Jewellers were present as guests of honour.

Vice president Uday P Shet, honorary chief secretary Gajanana D Pavaskar, honorary treasurer Vinayak M Diwaker, joint secretary Prakash S Sanu, joint treasurer Rajendra Burdekar honored Kamalaker couple.

Daivajhna organization members Suresh C Shet, Srinivas R Raiker, Chandrashekar S Rao, Suresh P Revanker, Vilas V Shirodkar, Prashanth Shet, Vimlesh N Kambadkone, Santhosh A Shet, Savitha S Chandonker, Anuradha S Vernekar, Saroja S Vernekar, women's wing members and large number of family members were present.

Religious rituals were held. Entertainment programmes, dances, musical items and fancy dresses were held in the afternoon. Winners were presented prizes and cricket tournament winners were presented trophies.

Prashanth Shet welcomed everyone and delivered the keynote address. Women's wing members sang a prayer song. Gajanana Pavaskar introduced the guests and proposed the vote of thanks.
