Puttur: CM Siddaramaiah welcomed at St Philommena College

Puttur, Jan 9: In connection with official visit to Puttur of Dakshina Kannada district, chief minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah landed at St Philomena College ground on the afternoon of January 7.

On this occasion, campus director of the college Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal of St Philomena Pre University College Fr Vijay Lobo and assistant professor of PG Studies in Commerce Fr Sunil George D’Souza extended special welcome to the chief minister. The President of Students’ Council Nixon Joseph greeted the chief minister by presenting a memento.

The chief minister was accompanied by minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment and district in-charge B Ramanath Rai and MLA of Puttur constituency and parliamentary secretary to chief minister, government of Karnataka Shakunthala T Shetty.
