Rahul gets warm welcome in Rae Bareli

Rae Bareli, Jan 15 (IANS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi got a warm welcome in Rae Bareli in on his way to his Lok Sabha constituency Amethi.

This was Gandhi's first visit to Amethi after becoming the party President.

The Congress tweeted pictures of Gandhi "being warmly received" and interacting with people over tea at a 'dhaba'. He was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Congress President Raj Babbar.
