Mangaluru: KORWA conducts donation distribution ceremony

Mangaluru, Jan 24: Konkan Overseas Returnees Welfare Association (KORWA) conducted a donation distribution ceremony at Bliss, Kadri on January 22.

As many as nine selected orphanages received financial help from KORWA. President Jacintha Pinto expressed her happiness on being an active member of a wonderful association from the past seven years. She gave a brief summary of all the activities KORWA had undertaken thus far and also thanked all the contributors, well wishers as well as the members who help and serve KORWA tirelessly, which allow the association to help underprivileged children in particular.



The elderly in the orphanage expressed their gratitude and hoped that the members of the association would conduct more projects such as this in future.

Project in-charge Elias Santis rendered the vote of thanks and briefed the past activities towards poor and needy people. Majority of KORWA members were present.
