Dassault Systèmes ranked as 'Most Sustainable Company'

New Delhi, Jan 24 (IANS): Global 3D experience major Dassault Systèmes on Wednesday announced that it has been ranked first by Toronto-based Corporate Knights in the 2018 "Top 100 Most Sustainable Corporations" in the World index.

The "Corporate Knights Global 100" index is recognised globally as the gold standard for corporate sustainability analysis.

"Dassault Systèmes is honoured to be recognised as number one by Corporate Knights for our vision of harmonising product, nature and life and for implementing this vision in everything that we do," Bernard Charlès, Vice Chairman and CEO, Dassault Systèmes, said in a statement.

"The '3DEXPERIENCE' platform enables innovators to play a major role in inventing sustainability models," Charlès added.

The ranking relies on the computation of performance indicators including environmental, social, financial and innovation capacity but this year, the sustainability value of a company's products was also analysed.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Dassault Systèmes has been included in the Global 100 index.
