Doha: Traditional 'Novem Jevan' by Mangalore Cricket Club on Sep 12

Media Release

Doha, Jul 30:
The feast of the Lady of Nativity brings to mind the aroma of our mom's home cooked vegetarian delicacies. It awakens the deep sense of belonging and love we have within us towards our families back home and our hometown. The Novem Jevan organized by MCC every year has now become a part of the tradition associated with this feast.

Mangalore Cricket Club(MCC) is pleased to announce that this year's celebration will be at the Al Ghazal Club on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 5.30 p.m. Like last year, our members will join hands and together, as one family, will prepare sumptuous traditional Mangalorean vegetarian delicacies.

The highlight of the evening will, of course, be the sharing of the blessed corn and partaking in the home-cooked meal as a family. In addition there will be a cultural program, which will include honoring of achievers and performance by winners of the talent competitions in selected categories. This year, prominent Mangalorean catholic personalities who have carved a niche for themselves in various fields will be recognized as well.

Be a part of the Mangalorean family and be there to celebrate the nativity of our Blessed Mother.
