Mangaluru gets ready to welcome Mata Amritanandamayi on Feb 20

Mangaluru, Jan 29: Amma Sadguru Mata Amritanandamayi is scheduled to arrive in Amrita Institute, Boloor on February 20. Special programmes will be held to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Brahmastana which had conducted Prana Prathiste on February 18, 2008.

A meeting of devotees was held at Amritha Vidyalaya in this connection. Prasad Raj Kanchan, president of Seva Samiti presided.

Brahmacharini Mangalamritha head of the math blessed. She provided guidance to make Brahmastana Mahotsava and Amitasangama 2018 to be held on February 20 and 21 a grand success.

Thousands of devotees from India and abroad are expected to arrive in Mangaluru for a glimpse of Amma. The excellent traditional hospitality in Mangaluru is commended by all. Discussions to prepare for suitable arrangements for meeting Amma were held in the meeting.

Honorary president Dr Jeevaraj Sorake, Dr Y Sanath Hegde, Vaman Kamath and Sruthi Sanath Hegde explained about various arrangements and preparations for the implementation of pro-society service projects.

Organizing secretary Suresh Amin thanked. Secretary Dr Ashok Shenoy compered the programme. Devotees from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and nearby districts took part in the meeting.
