BJP favours reservation in promotions: Bihar Deptuy CM

Patna, Feb 1 (IANS): Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said on Wednesday the Bharatiya Janata Party favours reservations in promotions in government jobs.

"No one can end reservation for scheduled castes and tribes in the country. There is no time limit to it," he said at a function here.

Sushil Modi, a senior BJP leader in Bihar, said reservation in jobs and educational institutions for certain castes will continue till there is inequality in Indian society.

The Bihar government has been providing reservation from panchayat level onwards, he said.
