Mangaluru: Union Bank of India regional office commissions 'Project Utkarsh'

Mangaluru, Feb 2: Union Bank of India, regional office here, recently officially launched 'Project Utkarsh' in its main branches in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Mandya and Mysuru.

K P Acharya, regional general manager, Bengaluru lit the lamp and inaugurated it. Diwaker Kamath, deputy general manager, BPT central office, Mumbai, Ashok Kumar Dash, regional head, regional office, Mangaluru were present.

'Project Utkarsh' accelerates quality service to its customers. It is a customer based application that has begun on the experience of customers prepared after improving internal processes for bank functions such as sanctioning of loan, online turn around time etc.

The project was launched in fourteen branches of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Mysuru district on February 1. Staff of the branches, staff of regional office and customers were present.
