Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (MM/SP)

Mangalore, Aug 2: Chief Minister B S Yadyurappa has informed the administrations of the coastal districts that the coastal belt of the State has been used as the gateway by the terrorists to gain entry into the State.

Discussing about the law and order situation in the state on Saturday August 2, he asked the district commissioners of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts to take necessary steps to prevent the entry of terrorists into the state. The CM revealed that the DCs have been alerted after gathering information from the arrested terrorists.

The terrorists furnished details about how they entered the State, when they were subjected to the narco-analysis test. Most of them confessed that they entered the State through coastal belt of the State. Therefore, stricter measures have to be taken to stop the entry of terrorists. Advanced weapons will be provided to the police department of coastal districts to combat this menace, he added.

Well. CM has every right, rather responsibility to check the Terrorism menace. I wish him and his team all the success. However, there is day light terrorism practiced by mining lobby, terrifying the other road users. Can our CM think some thing alternative? Or do we need our Management-Guru Mr. Lalu, to advise Eddy, to nationalise mining and transport through Railways instead of roadways, there by saving the rare earth for future generations, stopping plunder of national wealth by few.

Transportation by Rail not only saves our roads and environment pollution, but also fetches money to government exchequer. Can CM act without consulting ‘Reddy bros’?

Dear Mr.Chief Minister, You may be right that terrorists may be entering the state through coastal districts since you have all the informations. The entry of terrorists from outside can be checked or controlled by adopting various control measures, but what about in-house terrorism? Do you have any idea of how dangerous these local terrorists are?

By local terrorists I mean the Hindu and Muslim fanatics who are produced in-house by the notorious leaders of both the communities.Chalk out some plan to control hatred speeches and writings of these devilish leaders. No terrorist is a born terrorist, they are made so by so many factors. If you really want to mitigate terrorism, you should go to the root causes.I am sure you are aware of the situation and you will not do anything to solve it since politicians are the direct beneficiaries in any communal clash.

I agree with your concern. Let the government deal with the terrorism situation first rather then individual situations. Very soon you will be having double lane highways in Mangalore. Then you can drive more smoothly. Terrorism is a worst enemy of this globe. They do not believe in anything except killing of people.

There are more things to worry about than Terrorism. Huge LPG bullet tankers on the narrow highway along with recklessly speeding buses and Iron ore lorries are enough to creat panic and fear. I feel real terrorism when a speeding bus tailgating behind my car with non stop horn blowing and conductor pouding on my car to get out of his way.

I expect anytime that bus may run over me. Another terrorism feeling is that a huge JCB driven on a narrow road during peak hours coming close to me. Now politicians will use this terrorism to milk the country and win election again.
