Udupi, Feb 6: In the light of the upcoming visit by 'Amma', Mata Amritananandamayi to Mangaluru later this month, a preparatory meeting was held here on February 3 under the aegis of Amritananandamayi Seva Samiti.
On this occasion, district in-charge minsiter, Pramod Madhwaraj, released invitations for 'Amrita Sangama 2018' programme.
Mata Amritanandamayi, fondly addressed by her devotees as 'Amma', will be visiting Brahmasthana at Mangaluru on Feburary 20 and 21.
The meeting was attended by chief of Amritanandamayi Math Mangaluru, Mangalamrita Chjaitanya, president of Mangaluru Math, Prasad Kanchan, secretary, Suresh Ameen, honorary president of the Seva Samiti here, Sridhar Kinnimulky, president, Dr Nagaraj, and fishermen leaders from the district like Ramesh Kotian and Manoj Karkera.
