Mangalore, Aug 4:
Nemmadi centers located in five hoblis—Mangalore A, Mangalore B, Suratkal, Gurpur, and Mulky, across Mangalore taluk, will offer rural digital service beginning Sunday, August 10.

All those who seek caste certificates, income certificates, including other 32 services from the respective hobli, need not submit written applications in future.  They will be spared frequent visits to the tahsildar’s office.

A specimen of the application will be provided to the public at Nemmadi centers.  They can then get their certificates bearing the digital signature of the tahsildar, from the same Nemmadi center where they have applied, within 15 days of applying.

Additional copies of the certificate can be obtained any number of times in the same year on payment of Rs 10 per copy, stated the press release issued by the tahsildar.
