Bantwal, Aug 5: A training camp was organized by the Small Christian Community (SCC) at Infant Jesus parish hall, Modankap, on Sunday August 3.
The programme was inaugurated by the diocese director of SCC with a Holy Mass. The camp began with the invoking of blessings and the Holy Gospel was brought in procession.
Fr Gilbert D' Souza, parish priest of Amembal church, briefed the gathering about SCC. An audio cassette of devotional hymns on SCC was also released by Fr D'Souza.
Fr Uday Joseph Fernandes, assistant parish priest of Modankap, welcomed the gathering. Reuben Frank proposed the vote of thanks while the programme was organized by Helen Frank, SCC correspondent.
Richard Pascal D'Souza, secretary of parish council, compered the programme.
