Karkala, Aug 5: In an unanimous decision taken at the municipal session convened on Monday August 4 under the presidentship of municipal president Bhoja Kotian, the Moodbidri municipal authorities have been empowered to demolish and evict unauthorized constructions that are mushrooming all over the town.
Councillors pointed out that a building has been built adjacent to the road at Ladi in Prantya village. Councillor Prema Salian took the municipal officials to task for failing to do anything in the matter even after intimating them about it several months in advance.
