Cold Saturday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Feb 10 (IANS): It was a cold Saturday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 6.1 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.

At least 12 trains were cancelled, 18 delayed and one rescheduled due to fog in several parts of northern India.

"The sky will become partly cloudy towards afternoon with mist or shallow fog in the morning," an India Meteorological Department official told IANS.

The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 25 degrees Celsius. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 89 per cent.

The maximum temperature on Friday settled at 24.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average and the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
