Mangaluru: Unidentified vehicle causes death of pedestrian at Jokatte cross

Mangaluru, Feb 11: A person who was crossing the road at Jokatte cross circle at Panambur in the outskirts of the city was crushed to death by a vehicle,identity of which is as yet unknown The accident happened on Friday February 9.

Dinesh Yadav, who was working as truck driver for Cargo Links, a company having office in Panambur, lost his life in this tragic incident. When he was crossing the road, some vehiclele which was moving towards Udupi from the direction of the city hit him and sped away. Dinesh fell down on the road with serious injuries to his waist, abdomen, torso and limbs.

He was admitted to a private hospital for treatment, but without responding to treatments, he breathed his last during the early hours on Saturday.

A case about the incident was filed in traffic pollce station Panambur about this accident.
