20 suspected militants arrested in Pakistan


Islamabad, Feb 11 (IANS): Pakistani forces arrested 20 militants during raids conducted in Balochistan province on Sunday, the military said.

A statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations said the paramilitary Frontier Corps carried out intelligence-based raids in Buleda, Gish Kaur, Tratha and Pishin areas, reports Xinhua news agency.

The forces also recovered arms and ammunition along with laptops, GPS and other communication equipment, the statement said.

The raids are part of the ongoing anti-terror operation "Raddul Fassad" in Balochistan which was launched in February 2017.
