Mangaluru, Feb 12: In connection with the murder of a person named Zubair in Ullal three months back, Ullal police succeeded in arresting another accused on the night of Saturday February 10.
The arrested accused is Kadappara Nasir (27), a resident of Ullal.
A gang had stabbed Zubair to death in front of Mukkacheri mosque as its members believed that Zubair was passing on information about ganja trafficking indulged in by them.
Relating to the case, accused, Asif, Nizam, Suhail and another person were arrested in the past. Nasir was arrested by Ullal police inspector, Gopikrishna, on the basis of definite information collected by him.
Main accused in the case, Altaf, is still at large and police are searching for him, it is learnt.
