Pak will pay for this misadventure: Nirmala Sitharaman on J&K attacks

Jammu, Feb 13 (Deccan Chronicle): With two terror attacks on security forces in Jammu and Kashmir in the last two days, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday said "Pakistan will have to pay for this misadventure."

"I wouldn't certainly state a timeline (for action against Pakistan). But will say this, Pakistan will pay for this misadventure. I repeat, Pakistan will pay for it," the Defence Minister said.

The Defence Minister, who arrived in Jammu on Monday to meet the injured soldiers and civilians and assess the security situation, in her address to the media said, "The Ministry of Defence will stand by the Army. We have to work together with the Jammu and Kashmir government."

She said that the terrorists who attacked Jammu Army camp "enjoyed some local support, had handlers across the border."

On Saturday, one of the deadliest terror attacks took place in Sunjuwan Army camp in Jammu and Kashmir, in which five army personnel and a civilian died. Ten people, including six women and children, were injured. The police said terrorists of Jaish-e Mohammad were involved, who were killed after a nearly 36-hour operation.

Another suicide attack at Karan Nagar CRPF Camp in Srinagar was repulsed on Monday morning.

In a scathing attack on Pakistan, the minister said the neighbouring state has not taken any action "despite dossier after dossier given to them... In fact those responsible for Mumbai terror attack are freely roaming in Pakistan".

"Intelligence inputs show that terrorists were controlled by their handlers from across border. Evidence are being scrutinised by the NIA (National Investigation Agency). Pakistan is expanding the arch of terror to areas south of Pir Panjal and resorting to ceasefire violations to assist infiltration," said the Defence Minister.

Sitharaman said Pakistan has been violating ceasefire to help infiltrators. "Activities of terrorists in the hinterlands are severely curtailed due to relentless efforts of security forces," the Defence Minister added.

"Six fatal casualties, including a civilian were caused by the terrorists. Three terrorists have been eliminated. There were reports of four terrorists. The fourth terrorist must have been a guide and may not have entered the Camp area," Sitharaman said.

The Defence Minister said, "Giving the evidences to Pakistan will be a continuous process. It will have to be proved over and over again that they are responsible. Pakistan will have to pay for this misadventure."

The Defence Minister expressed her condolences on loss of lives of our soldiers in the terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 48 hours. She said, "I compliment the valour of our brave soldiers."

Soon after arriving in Jammu, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday met J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.

The Defence Minister also visited the Military Hospital in Jammu to meet those who were injured in the Sunjuwan Army Camp attack.

Nirmala Sitharamanji,These wordings are only ion papers. You are here for display.Words do not cook the rice. How long we can be patient and tolerate all these atrocities on us by Pakistan.Show to them our power.Thee is a limit for everything.Show our aggressiveness. Why to wait more.Attack them and teach them a lesson.Enough is enough. At least under your regime, use your acumenship and skill, moreover your power.Women are empowered now.Not like before. You are one among them.show to the world that you can do something. Not only by giving statements and come in front of the camera just for publicity.Pakistan is acting too much in spite of patience, tolerance and gone beyond their limit. We have to teach them a lesson in such a way that their name should not be in the world map.

We were proud seeing our mighty military force in the Republic day parade.

I am wondering why such a strong military force can not attack these terrorists and destroy them ? .

We are hearing these kind of attacks on military bases frequently.

Giving statements that " Pakistan will pay for it " is not enough. We need more stronger action, more surgical attacks and permanent solution. The organisations behind these attacks should be totally destroyed. Cross the border and attack like the US did.

Defence Minister don't make hollow statements. Your 56" PM said once he becomes PM the terrorists will not enter India and there are more attacks than UPA rule. So it is time to send your RSS cadres to LOC to pay for PAK misadventure and if that is not so, show your guts and see to it that PAK is given hard in return. Stop making loose statements like your PM.

When they will be paid? BJP govt can not cancel even MFN status to Pakistan and stop trading and goods movement which carries mostly drugs ,arms and counterfeit currency, Every govt in India is influenced by so called Aman Ki Asha which is nothing but smugglers and drug lords they want borders should be kept open and do illegal trade.. BJP's Pakistan policy is total failure. You need guts like Indira Gandhi.

    Madam,
We need action not jumla. Looks your entire BJP team suffering from JUMLA PHOBIA. Please stop fooling the nation especially your blind bhakhts who voted for you.
Four years back Modi in an interview said MMS to stop writing love letters to across the border. Now what he is doing the worse than MMS. Going one step ahead he went all the way to attend Nawazsharif birthday party and enjoy biryani ( some sources says its beef biryani).

Ms. Nirmala as per your press meet, you have all the information about the terrorists, then who stopped you to take deadly action against those responsible or the terrorists prior to their attack???? Secondly, where is your BOL Bachhan Boss who is supposed to bring 10 heads???? Yeah, he is on Honeymoon!!!! Thirdly, didn't JOOT-LAY say all the terrorist related attack were stopped after the Demonitisation??? You people keep on Blabbering where PAPISTAN keep on killing our Brave Soldiers. Correctly said Shiv Sena, that our Missiles are for August 15 & January 26 parades!!!!!! That is the difference between Congress & BESHARAM JANARA PARTY!!!!! Congress attack the Enemies, BESHARAM JANARA PARTY'S people attack our own Citizens!!!!!
