Mangaluru: Thimmappa to distribute title deeds to Surathkal, Gurupur residents on Feb 14

Mangaluru, Feb 13: “Revenue minister Kaagodu Thimmappa will distribute title deeds to families residing in Surathkal and Gurupur for their houses and sites under 94 (c) and 94 (cc) of the land revenue act on February 14,” informed MLA Mohiuddin Bava.

Addressing media here on Monday February 12, MLA Mohiuddin Bava said, “In Gurupura under 94 (cc), a total of 3,396 applications were received out of which 1,496 applications have been approved for title deeds and remaining 1,900 applications are under inspection. Under 94 (c), a total of 224 applications were received out of which 47 families have already received their title deeds. As many as 86 applicants have been approved for title deeds and remaining applications are under inspection.



“In Surathkal, under 94 (cc), a total of 3784 applications were received out of which 1,820 applicants will be give the title deeds and remaining are being looked into. This has been a long pending issue from 20 years of giving title deeds to the families residing in Surathkal and Gurupura for their houses and sites under 94 (c) and 94 (cc),” he said.

Speaking about Prathibha Kulai remarks, Bava said, “Prathibha Kulai received abusive comments on social media and even some group of people posted message of affair about me and Prathibha Kulai. Those who could not digest the truth have commented in such a way. I want them to prove it. If it is proved, I am ready to quit my social life. I will file a complaint with police commissioner with regard to abusive remarks on social media.”
