Mangaluru: Murder attempt at Mukkacheri - accused arrested

Mangaluru, Feb 13: A person, who has been accused of trying to kill a person at Mukkacheri, Ullal, before fleeing, stands arrested by Ullal police. The arrested person has been identified as Rajaneesh (32), residing near Mogaveerapatna.

On March 26 last year, Naushad Hussain, who used to work for a Samosa factory belonging to Muneer at Mukkacheri, was proceeding to his workplace when he was stopped and hit by a sword.

The accused, who had evaded arrest so far, was arrested by Ullal police on Monday February 12 on the basis of reliable information.

The team of police from anti rowdy squad which took the man into custody was led by assistant commissioner of police, Rama Rao.
