Denmark's Prince Henrik dead


Copenhagen, Feb 14 (IANS): Denmark's Prince Henrik, the husband of Queen Margrethe II, has died, the palace has announced. Henrik was 83.

He passed away at 11.18 p.m. in his sleep at Fredensborg Palace on Tuesday, Xinhua quoted the palace statement as saying.

The Prince is survived by Queen Margrethe and their two sons.
