Karkala: NMAMIT’s mega event ‘Incridea’ kicks-off

Karkala, Feb 15: ‘Incridea-2018’, the one- of-its-kind national level inter-collegiate techno-cultural mega event of NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Nitte is in progress from February 14 to 17.

Incridea is a national level techno-cultural fest of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte. It is a celebration of all forms of technical and cultural talents. The fests of the college have managed to attract students from professional colleges all over the country. This year, the institute is expecting a footfall of more than 2000 external student participants in the campus. With over 49 events planned, Incridea is said to reach new standards.

This festival, being an annual event of the institute, is ready to showcase the hidden talents of engineering students from all streams who otherwise spend most of their time in taming machines, typing computer codes, burning circuits and in other academic activities.

On February 14, the annual day of NMAM Institute of technology was inaugurated by H Kumar, managing director of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) and the ‘Incridea’ was inaugurated in the campus by Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodabidri. The function was be presided by N Vinaya Hegde, president, Nitte Education Trust and chancellor, Nitte University.
