Mangaluru, Mar 3: The makers of Kannada film 'Banna Bannada Baduku', which stars several Coastalwood artistes, are planning to re-release the film.

The film directed by Ismael Moodushedde, was released in May 2017. It was also released in Mumbai at the same time. It has Raviraj Shetty in the lead along with Anwitha Sagar. Ria Meghana, Ramesh Bhat, Sathyajith, Honnavalli Krishna, Gopinath Bhat, Chetan Rai Mani, Mangesh Bhat, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Apoorva and others have acted in the film.

The film is based on the life of Yakshagana artistes. Balipa Narayan and Sathish Shetty have played the rold of Yakshagana artistes. Music is is provided by A K Vijay Kokila. Shashiraj Kavooru and Suresh R S have provided the script. Many artistes of Tulu and Beary drama have acted in the film. Veteran actor Ramesh Bhat plays a Yakshagana artiste, Vishnunavada. Krishna Naik who hails from Karkala is the producer of the film.
