Rahul a student of nursery if Shah is in PG class of politics: Himanta

Agartala, Mar 3 (PTI): If BJP chief Amit Shah is a student of post graduation then Congress president Rahul Gandhi is still in nursery class, Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said today while comparing the two leaders' capability in politics.

Sarma was in the Congress for nearly two decades and a minister in the then Tarun Gogoi-led Congress governments for nearly 15 years before joining the BJP in 2015.

"I would say, if Amit Shah is a student of postgraduate in politics, Rahul Gandhi is still in nursery class," he told reporters here when asked to compare Shah and Gandhi's style of functioning.

After the Assam Assembly elections in 2016, he became education and health minister in Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal's BJP-led government in the state.

Sarma had earlier also criticised Rahul for his style of functioning alleging the Congress president was not a serious politician and "he was busy feeding his dog" when the Assam's then Congress government, where he was part, wanted to discuss urgent issues of the state.

    One of the abbreviations for PG in Kannada is Pakka Gunda. As the liable nursery does not sounds well so too PG degree does not fit that well.

    The Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who was earlier in Congress don't even know all the pupils start education with nursery. Only genius some genius in the BJP who don't want to disclose their educational qualification directly got degree without attending class or writing exams.

    Not too far just about 4 years back when This Himanta Biswa Sarma revolted against Mr Gogoi govt in Assam from Congress .Congress high command including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul didnt support him .

    Mr Sarma said you make me CM .Congress didnt make him .Then BJP made friendship with him .Now the whole of North East has gone to BJP Kalas
    Same way Arvind Kejriwal asked Sonia Gandhi to be included in the NAC when Congress was in power .She refused and whole Delhi went to AAP
    Congress is not ready to give up power which helps BJP easily
    Now with rising Development agenda of BJP it is very difficult for Congress to come back to power

    I've mentioned only Rafale scam and Banks loot and scoot. If you see any religious angle in that it's totally your misperception. Also most of the items in your list still at ' promise' state and we all know all promises of 2014 turned out to be Jumla as admitted by Shah. The biggest Jumla in your list is National Health Sheme @ RS 5 lakhs with budgetary allocation of 3k crores or so! Have you come across a bigger Jumla than this? I haven't. There's a strong likelihood that government would levy one more tax as additional burden on common man while Chowkidar happlpily lets the looters to scoot.

    I reiterate my comment from a previous article. The Cong is making it better for the BJP , by potraying RG as their leader. The results of NE today speaks for itself. RGs arrogance is unmatched, Apparently he is on a foreign trip as his party is decimated in NE. You just cannot ignore it and concentrate on the next state with the same strategy giving out the same results. It is so obvious. Rahul and Sonia need to quit politics. I can understand that RG courtiers will now rush to insulate him from criticism.
    The era of tainted dynasty is over....even congress name needs to be changed to Bharat national Congress . 'Gandhi' Mukth Congress is the only key for revival.

    If pappu is really visiting his ailing GM he could have announced a week back as she has not fallen serious in last few days .she is in same condition here she was a week back .this clearly shows what is his commitment to party/nation with that of to his family.for him family comes first and it is natural for chor party leaders to behave.
