Bantwal: Accident at Ramalkatte - bike rider dies, another injured

Bantwal, Mar 7:  After a lorry hit a motor bike on national highway 75 at Ramalkatte, Thumbe on Tuesday March 6, the bike rider was killed. The pillion rider survived with injuries.

It is said that the accident happened when the biker was moving towards Mangaluru. The driver of the truck who was driving the vehicle recklessly, turned his vehicle all of a sudden, as a result of which the bike that was driven by Ghazal hit the truck from behind, it is gathered. The injured rider was taken to a hospital at Thumbe but his life could not be saved. Javed, who was riding the pillion, suffered grievous injuries.
