Kasargod: Three vehicles get involved with accident - girl students injured

Kasargod, Mar 7: An accident involving three vehicles happened at the tenth mile, Udyavar near Manjeshwar on Tuesday March 6 morning. Six girl students were injured in this accident.

The van of Meeyapadavu Al Hidaya Women's Arabic College was entering the highway at Udyavar tenth mile, when a scooterist who came from behind, tried to overtake the van, when the van hit the two-wheeler. A lorry loaded with cement bags which was moving on the highway then hit the school van.

Students of the college, Fatimath Dilshad from Manjeshwar Adkadaguri, Naseera, Tahira and Fatimmath Irfana from Manjeshwar were injured. Two other students and the van's driver escaped with minor injuries.

Four students whose injuries gave cause for concern, were admitted into a private hospital at Thokkottu.
