New Delhi, Mar 7 (IANS): The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day on Wednesday amid continuing protests by the opposition over the Rs 12,600 crore Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud and other issues.
When the House met at 12 noon after its first adjournment, opposition members were on their feet with their demands. Many trooped near the Speaker's podium carrying placards.

"Marathi is an old language and meets the criteria of a classical language," he said.
The Shiv Sena member said several languages, including Telugu and Odia, had been classified as classical. He urged Home Minister Rajnath Singh to reply.
As the din continued, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the House for the day.
