Bhatkal: BIFA wins All India Senior National Football 7 tourney at Aurangabad

Bhatkal, Mar 7: Representing Karnataka, Bhatkal Inter-Football Association (BIFA) emerged winners at All India Senior National Football 7 Championship at Aurangabad.

Karnataka BIFA defeated Maharashtra by 1-0 in the final match. Karnataka BIFA remained unbeaten throughout the tournament.

In the group stage matches, BIFA defeated Maharasthra, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. In quarterfinal, they beat Metropolitan city teams (Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai) and in the semi-final defeated Chandigarh.
