Kundapur: ‘Om Friends’ to organise state level quiz competition ‘Nenapina Bhavayana’

Kundapur, Mar 8: For the first time in the history of Kundapur, Om Friends Kundapur will organise a state level quiz competition ‘Nenapina Bhavayana-2018’ Snehakke Munnudi- Janara Chavadi, in the memory of late Kishore Shetty and Sachin Shetty, at Dr Shivaram Karanth Theme Park Saligrama on March 11 and 25 at 10 am.

MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary will inaugurate the quiz competition. Retired teacher Sadashiva Shetty Kenchanuru will offer floral tribute to late Kishore Shetty and Sachin Shetty.

Halady Srinivas Shetty, former MLA, Kundapur Constituency assembly, K Pratapchandra Shetty, MLC, B M Sukumar Shetty, president, Kundapur Education Trust, Jayaprakash Shetty, former MP Udupi Chikkamagaluru, Raghupati Bhat, former MLA Udupi, Priyanka Mary Francis, Udupi Deputy Commissioner, Anand C Kundar, proprietor, Geethanand Foundation Trust Manur, Gurme Suresh Shetty, businessman Kaup, Pramod Hande, president, Kotathattu grama panchayat, Doma Chandrashekhar, the principal, Dr B B Hegde College Kundapur, Rajiv Shetty, Malyady, Rekha Bannady, lecturer, Bhandarkars College Kundapur and others will be present in the programme.

Rakesh Mally, president of INTUC Karnataka will distribute the prizes to winners of the competition.

The winners of the quiz competition will get Rs 20,000 and permanent trophy and the runner-up will get Rs 20,000 and permanent trophy. Not only the contestants, but there is an opportunity for the lucky ones in the audience to get prizes in the competition.

Contestants between 15-50 years are invited to participate in the quiz contest.
