Soldier injured in Pakistan firing


Srinagar, Mar 9 (IANS): An Indian soldier was injured on Friday in Pakistani firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Defence sources said the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing on the LoC in Uri sector. The injured soldier was shifted to a hospital.

"Our troops retaliated strongly and effectively," an official said. The LoC divides Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
