Bangladesh announces one-day mourning for plane crash victims

Dhaka, Mar 14 (IANS): Bangladesh will observe Thursday as a day of mourning for the victims of the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash in Nepal, officials said.

As part of marking the mourning day, special prayers will be held at mosques, temples and churches and pagodas across the country.

The aircraft with 71 people on board crashed and burst into flames while landing at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday.
