Voters are angry with BJP: Rahul Gandhi after by-election result

New Delhi, Mar 15 (PTI): Congratulating the winners of the Lok Sabha by-elections, Congress president Rahul Gandhi today said it was clear that people were angry with the BJP and would vote for any non-BJP candidate with the potential to win.

He also said the Congress was keen to rebuild the party in Uttar Pradesh but that would not happen overnight.

"Congratulations to the winners of today's by-elections. It is clear from the results that voters have a lot of anger towards the BJP and will vote for any non-BJP candidate who has more chances of winning.

"The Congress is keen on rebuilding the party in Uttar Pradesh, but that will not happen overnight," he tweeted in Hindi.

The Samajwadi Party won the Phulpur Lok Sabha seat and was poised to bag the Gorakhpur seat, the constituencies vacated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, respectively.

The Bahujan Samaj Party gave its support to the SP in the two seats while the Congress put up its own candidates.

The BJP was also set to lose in the Araria Lok Sabha by-election with the RJD establishing a convincing lead.

In the two assembly by-polls in Bihar, the RJD won the Jehanabad assembly seat while the BJP bagged the Bhabhua assembly seat.

He fled to Italy on the counting day leaving his chelas to face all the criticism of losing in 3 states. Here is giving gyan shouting from the rooftop when BJP loses 2 seats in a by-election.

To understand RaGa's happiness over yesterday's UP bypoll results one needs to first understand the meaning of "Nation wide increasing anti BJP sentiment". However, this news will not be found in Nagpur bulletins. BJP have become to powerful and too rich and too focused on elections thereby neglecting governance.

So become part of a United opposition leaving ego and personal interests aside and harness this anger against this useless BJP for their empty promises and zero delivery and kick them out in the next LS polls before Taklu Daku and Feku come up with some new evil plan to fool voters.

So time to withdraw your bank deposits and invest elsewhere because soon deposits from Banks will be wiped off with bank looters fleeing under Modi government's nose.

Why Raga did not open his mouth when BJP got elected in three states recently....whether he feels state assy elections are less important than bye elections?Managers of Raga should advise him not open his mouth on unimportant issues just to make his presence.,..yes BJP has deficiencies doesn't mean people have discarded it....or its popularity is getting eroding...
Kichadi parties are shouting from the roof top now should forge their unity to participate in 2019 election too in the same spirit...will they?
