Four BJP MLAs marshalled out of Delhi Assembly

New Delhi, Mar 16 (IANS): All four BJP MLAs were marshalled out of the Delhi Assembly on Friday for protesting ahead of Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal's address on the first day of the budget session.

The MLAs including Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta protested stating that only elected members should be allowed inside the House.

It was a veiled attack on disqualified AAP MLA and Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot, who was present in the House.

In January, President Ram Nath Kovind had approved the Election Commission's recommendation to disqualify 20 AAP MLAs in Delhi, including Gahlot, on charges of holding Office of Profit.
