Mangaluru: Much-awaited Tulu film ‘Appe Teacher’ released

Mangaluru, Mar 23: One of the much awaited Tulu movies, ‘Appe Teacher’, released here at Cinepolis on Friday, March 23.

Addressing the gathering, S S Nayak said, “The title ‘Appe Teacher’ is a good one. Teacher always plays an important role in everyone’s lives as they show the path for our future. Good teachers understand subjects and great teachers understand students. I urge everyone to encourage Tulu movies and show full support for their success. I wish all the success to the team. Let this movie cross the 100-day mark.”



Sunil and Niriksha Shetty play the lead in the movie, while Usha Bhandary, Devdas Kaapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, Sandeep Shetty, and Shailashree are playing prominent roles in the movie. The film has been produced under the banner of Swayam Prabha movies and entertainment.

Sandalwood movie fame Ravi Basrur composed the background music of ‘Appe Teacher’. The dubbing process of the film was done at Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd.

Tulu movie producer Prakash Pandeshwar, Jagannath Shetty Bala, producer of the film Ratnakar Shetty, director Kishore Moodbidiri, actors Naveen D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Stany Alvares and others were present.

The film has also released at Big Cinemas, PVR, INOX multiplexes and also in Beltangady, Puttur, Karkala, Sullia, Udupi, Moodbidiri and Karkala.

Sukanya compered the programme and director Kishore Moodabidiri rendered the vote of thanks.
