Mangaluru: Former lover objects marriage - would-be groom ends life

Mangaluru, Mar 27: A youth working for a firm at Hosakadu, Pakshikere near Haleangady hanged himself from the roof beam of a room inside the firm where he worked, and ended his life on Monday March 26. The deceased has been identified as Guruprasad (28), a resident of Kerekadu near Punaroor.

Guruprasad's marriage had been fixed to be held shortly. It is said that a lady with whom he was in love in the past had raised objection to the forthcoming marriage. In a complaint filed with Mulky police station, family members of Gurupprasad said that out of consternation arising out of this initiative taken by his former lover, Guruprasad had killed himself.

Mulky police, who have registered a case, are investigating.

    How sad, V live in 21 century, whatever the love affair or love deceived case may be one should be bold to overcome n solve it. How can anybody comments when a subject person committed suicidelet this not happen to others.

    Sad.heartfelt sympathy to his family.Looks like the person was not psychological nicht labile.otherwise he would have cleared the situation as a adult ,instead of suecide.Or he promised the lady during their affair of marraige?
